Laboratory for Multiphsics & Multiscale Systems

MMS Lab

The Multiphysics & Multiscale Systems Laboratory is the laboratory of Kim Dong-cheol, a professor of mechanical engineering at Sogang University in Korea.

MMSLAB is a laboratory that identifies the properties and characteristics of materials and develops original technologies.

Recent research achievements include development of optimum bonding technology guide software through machine learning, development of deformation prediction technology by heat/Creep/absorption of epoxy and plastic materials, research on self-assembly processes of micro and nanostructures, and multi-scale design technology of shape memory alloys using Phase Field models.
